Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as a reporter and anchor on WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor and morning reporter at WCBD TV. In Charleston O'Dell's reporting regarding the police's lenient approach towards DUI cases led to an State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in state authorities re-issuing an even more strict directive on DUI situations. Ms. O'Dell won her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell has worked working in Charleston working as a journalist and co-anchor for the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving over to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor during weekends. Her current position as host of Access Hollywood is complemented by her work on NBC News Today, Dateline NBC and NBC News.
